This morning, whilo a number of men woie pulling down a building at the corner of West Eleventh, noar Hudbon street, the walls fell iu killing four men in stantly, aud wouuding nine others to Hiicli an extent that death is looked for. A civil suit litis been commenced against Carl Vogt, by a relative of Chevalier de Bianco, who he is alleged, to have murdered for the jrocovery of $12,000 worth of property of tho mur dered man. It was stated in the Sheriff's oflke to-duy that Comptroller Green had .sent word that he was niaking preparations tq pay the judgmeut for which the furniture in the Comptroller's office and other city property were adver tised for side on Tuesday next. This morning Michael Broodwick, while in a state of semi-intoxication, qnrrrcled with his mother-in law at 81 Carmine street. His daughter, fearing bo might seriously injure her, galled km her two sons, ono of whom, James Broodivl'k, aged 19, rushed into the room and endeavored to take his father away from the poor woman whom ho was savagely beating, when lie turned on him with a large knifo and stabbed him twico iu the heart Jfostaggorcd and f el', but got up again and went up to tho second tloor nnd fell dead. Tho man's brother interfered and the father modo n lunge ut him aud stablied him nearly in the same place as he did James, but not fatally. At this point tho police rushed in and secured Broadwick, who was perfectly mod with rage. The whole family resided on the fourth floor, were eartmeu by occupation, and were almost always quarrelling. Croadwick had been drinking hard for some days, and at tho station house professed to know nothing about the bloody deed. The watcU of the cngiuecr on the freight train was a quarter of an hour too slow. Both the 'engineer aud con ductor of the freight train fled. The conductor Las been arrested and a warraut Las been insued for the ar rest of the engineer. Tho passenger eoaehi rs are off the track, tut the passengers are unhurt. Passengers by tho western bound train of tho Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad, vhioh did not arrive hero till 1:10 this morning, bring in the main confirmatory accounts of the collision near Montgomery station with some additional particulars. The HiUgboro andLovell and accommodation triin left Montgomery station on time, and the freight train bound from Chilli eothe to this city was behind time. It is said the conductor's watch was 15 minutes slow, and in addition intima ted that the engineer, with whom he bad some Lard words at Lowell, laid he would get Lira into difficulty tiefore ho got to Cincinnati. At any rato the freight train started out aud thn two triiusjnet on a curve. Both engines reared upward snd stood almost erect. Tho baggage cars follow iug the passen ger coaches remained on the track but the shock to the passengers was terri ble. Charles Rnthel remained on the cngiuo with his father, the engineer, aud was crushed between the tiro box and tender. Tho father escaped with out apparently any serious bodily in jury, but was so much moved by the excitement of the disaster that he came away from tho wreck with a dis ordered mind. The engineer saw the man obstructing tho track and reversed the engine and ran buck to Cameron. An other attempt was made on Wednesday night to run tho train of tho Atlantic & Pacific Railroad off tho track, near Leavenworth, but without success.
